High temperatures can increase the risk of dehydration, heat exhaustion, heatstroke, and worsening of existing health conditions.

Top Tips for Staying Cool
๐ง Drink plenty of water throughout the day
๐ช Keep blinds and curtains closed in sunny rooms
๐ก Stay indoors during the hottest part of the day (11amโ3pm)
๐ Wear loose, light-coloured clothing
๐งด Use sunscreen and wear a hat outdoors
๐ถ Avoid strenuous exercise during peak temperatures
๐ Never leave children, vulnerable adults, or pets in parked vehicles
Heat Exhaustion – Know The Signs
โ ๏ธ Symptoms may include:
โข Headache
โข Dizziness
โข Excessive sweating
โข Feeling sick
โข Tiredness or weakness
โข Muscle cramps
Move to a cool place, drink water, and seek medical advice if symptoms do not improve.
Call 999 Immediately If Someone:
๐จ Becomes confused
๐จ Loses consciousness
๐จ Has a very high temperature
๐จ Shows signs of heatstroke
