Please be aware the NHS is now offering a Spring COVID-19 vaccine booster jab to people aged 75 and over and to people aged 12 and over who are immunosuppressed.

The current advice is that if you are in these groups, you should have a Spring booster six months after your third jab to offer best protection against becoming seriously ill from COVID.

If you are in these groups and a registered patient at this practice we will be concentrating on care home and housebound patients initially while also holding limited in practice clinics (the first clinic of almost 400 patients was held on 23rd April).

If you are able, after receiving a letter from the NHS inviting you to book your Spring booster through the National Booking System or by calling 119, book a vaccination at the Kassam Stadium in Oxford or at several Oxfordshire community pharmacies.  If you are unable to use these options ask the staff to add your name to the COVID booster list the next time you contact the surgery.
