On Tuesday 3rd April the Malthouse Surgery received 949 incoming telephone calls from patients, almost 100 an hour. The average answer time for the day was 3 minutes, however, we know some people who called at a time when lots of others called waited much longer than this and we apologise. Remember before you call the surgery to make an appointment there are alternatives for minor health problems, such as going to your local pharmacist.

All staff attend training courses for medical receptionists. They are available from 8.00am until 6.30pm Monday to Friday to help with appointments, receiving specimens and giving test results to patients.
