Noticeboard

On Tuesday 3rd April the Malthouse Surgery received 949 incoming telephone calls from patients, almost 100 an hour. The average answer time for the day was 3 minutes, however, we know some people who called at a time when lots of others called waited much longer than this and we apologise. Remember before you call the surgery to make an appointment there are alternatives for minor health problems, such as going to your local pharmacist.

GP Net Earnings

All GP Practices are required to declare the mean earnings (eg average pay) for GPs working to deliver NHS Services to patients.

The average pay for GPs working for six months or more in the Malthouse Surgery in the last financial year was £82,679 before tax and national insurance.  This is for 4 full time, 8 part time GPs.
